February 16, 2025: The Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) Vorkady Unit marked a historic milestone with the celebration of its Golden Jubilee at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Vorkady. The grand event commemorated 50 years of unwavering dedication to faith, service, and community building.
The day began with a Thanksgiving Holy Mass at 7:30 AM, celebrated by Rev. Fr. Ashwin Lohith Cardoza, Director of ICYM Mangalore Diocese. The solemn Mass served as a moment of reflection and gratitude for the unit’s journey over the past five decades.

The evening’s stage program was presided over by Rev. Fr. Basil Vas, Parish Priest and Director of ICYM Vorkady, with Shilpa Dyavaiah, IPS, District Police Chief of Kasaragod, as the Chief Guest.
