ICYM VORKADY UNIT in collaboration with St.Joseph Seminary, Jeppu conducted INTER-WARD TUG OF WAR match for the Vorkady parishioners on 6th October,2024 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church,Vorkady.
The match started at 9:15 am and ended at 1 pm.Total 11 wards participated in men’s category and 10 wards in women’s category,total participants were 168.
The match inauguration was led between ICYM Vorkady unit and Brothers of St.Joseph seminary, Jeppu.
Competition highlights:
Kalimanja ward won the men’s category, defeating Kaliyuru ward in the final round. Kalimanja ward emerged victorious in the women’s category, beating Thimmangur II ward.
The event promoted unity, physical fitness and healthy competition among vorkady parishioners.
