September 8, 2025, at 6 pm, the ICYM Vorkady unit organized Nove Jevan at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Vorkady. This meaningful event brought together 20 members of ICYM Vorkady for a night of prayer, fellowship, and sharing.
Before the Nove Jevan program, the members participated in a novena, offering flowers and prayers. This spiritual preparation set the tone for the evening’s festivities.

Fr. Santhosh DSouza Assistant Director of ICYM Vorkady, blessed the Nove by adding blessed rice to the payasam, invoking God’s blessings on the gathering.
The members then sat in a circle and shared the Nove Jevan together, fostering a sense of community and togetherness. The presence of Fr. Santhosh D Souza, Sr. Severine D cunha Animator ICYM Vorkady, Dr. Steevan D Souza, Animator ICYM Vorkady, and Mr. Rajesh D’Souza, PPC Vice President, added significance to the event.
The ICYM Vorkady unit’s Nove Jevan celebration was a resounding success, bringing together members in prayer, fellowship, and sharing. The event strengthened the bonds within the community and provided a meaningful experience for all involved.
