Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) Vorkady unit was established in 1974 under the leadership of Rev. Fr. Peter Paul Crasta, with the mission of “Leadership through Service.” The main aim was to bring the youth of the parish together, provide them with a platform to showcase their talents, and actively contribute to the growth and vibrancy of the church community.

Over the past 50 years, many dedicated directors, presidents, and young members have contributed immensely to the success and strength of the ICYM Vorkady unit. Their commitment and teamwork have helped conduct numerous social, cultural, spiritual, and sports activities that have empowered the youth.

As a milestone in this journey, ICYM Vorkady celebrated its Golden Jubilee on February 16, 2025, marking 50 years of youth service, unity, and leadership in the parish.

ICYM Vorkady continues its legacy of unity and service by conducting meetings on the first Sunday of every month, where members come together to plan and organize various events and initiatives.

ICYM Vorkady remains committed to fostering leadership, service, and unity among the youth, continuing its journey with enthusiasm, faith, and dedication.
