The Risen Saviour Chapel in Bovikana, established in 1983 under the visionary leadership of Fr. Vincent Victor Menezes. Initially a part of Narampady Church, the chapel’s opening brought immense relief to devotees who previously had to travel 13 km to worship. After being handed over to the Pallotine Congregation in 2016, the chapel was declared a separate quasi-parish and renamed Risen Saviour Church in 2018. Under the dynamic leadership of Rev. Fr. Stanyslaus D’Souza, ICYM was introduced in 2016, transforming the youth landscape. With 28 members initially, our youth have been actively engaged in church activities. Today, under the guidance of Rev. Fr. Claudy Vas, our small but dedicated group continues to make a remarkable impact, participating in every ICYM program and proudly hosting our first-ever “Taize Prayer” Varado program, marking a historic moment in Bovikana.
