The Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) Vorkady Unit joyfully celebrated National Youth Sunday 2025 on 31st August 2025 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Vorkady. The celebration began with the Holy Mass at 7:30 AM, which was solemnly organized by the youth of the parish.
The youth actively took part in the liturgy, making the celebration truly meaningful and vibrant. A special prayer service was also conducted, invoking God’s blessings on all the youth of the parish, so that they may grow in faith, hope, and love, and be true witnesses of Christ in society.
The theme verse of the celebration was “You also are my witnesses, because you have been with me” (John 15:27), reminding the youth of their mission to stand firm in faith and live as shining examples of Christian values.
The day was a moment of unity and inspiration, strengthening the bond of fellowship among the youth and encouraging them to actively participate in the mission of the Church. ICYM Vorkady unit members offered offerings. The ICYM Vorkady Unit expressed gratitude to the parish priest, elders, and all parishioners for their support and encouragement in making the celebration a grand success.
