August 10, 2025 the ICYM Vorkady unit, in collaboration with Catholic Sabha Vorkady, participated in the Kasaragod Varado VOVIYO VERS competition held at Our Lady of Mercy Church, Manjeshwar. The event showcased the talents of various groups from 7 parishes, highlighting their creativity and skills in traditional Konkani VOVIYO VERS singing.

Total 10 members participated in this competition out of this Six members from ICYM Vorkady actively participated in the competition, demonstrating their skills and teamwork. Their hard work and dedication paid off as they secured the third place in the competition. 

The ICYM Vorkady unit’s collaboration with Catholic Sabha Vorkady highlighted the strength of their partnership and shared commitment to promoting talent and community engagement. This event was a testament to the unit’s spirit and dedication to excellence.
