ICYM Vorkady Unit Celebrated International Friendship Day on August 3rd, 2025 with great enthusiasm and camaraderie. The event followed a council meeting held at the church, where the unit’s council members gathered to strengthen their bonds and foster friendship. Total 17 members were present for this event. 

To make the celebration more meaningful, each participant took turns drawing lots with their fellow council members’ names. Whichever name they drew, they were tasked with tying a friendship band on that person’s wrist and extending warm wishes, along with good luck messages. This thoughtful gesture promoted unity, care, and appreciation among the members.

The event was made more special with the presence of Sr. Severine, the animator. Her involvement added value to the celebration, and her guidance helped the council members make the most of this occasion.

The International Friendship Day celebration served as a reminder of the importance of nurturing friendships and building strong relationships within the ICYM Vorkady unit. The event concluded on a positive note, with members feeling more connected and motivated to support one another.
