ICYM Kasaragod Vicariate, in collaboration with ICYM Vorkady Unit, organized Divine Rhythms 2026 – Season 3 on 22nd February 2026 at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church Hall, Vorkady. The event commenced at 4:00 PM and was gracefully hosted by Ms Jisha Monteiro, Cup Prashasthi Representative of ICYM Vorkady Unit.
The program began with a solemn inaugural ceremony presided over by the President of the event, Very Rev. Fr Stany Pereira, along with Rev. Fr Basil Vaz, Parish Priest and Director of ICYM Vorkady Unit, and Rev. Fr Vishal Monis, ICYM Kasaragod Vicariate Director.
The inauguration was marked by offering flowers to the Crucifix and the Holy Bible, symbolizing reverence and devotion. The ceremony was further enriched by fixing the twelve Fruits of the Holy Spirit—Charity, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Generosity, Gentleness, Faithfulness, Modesty, Self-control, and Chastity around the image of the Holy Spirit, beautifully reflecting the spiritual theme of the event.

Around 300 youth actively participated in the event out of 1000+ members, making the gathering vibrant, energetic, and spirit-filled.
Cultural & Spiritual Performances:
The event commenced with a mime show presented by the ICYM Vorkady Unit, beautifully depicting the Way of the Cross of Jesus Christ. The performance delivered a powerful spiritual message that deeply touched the audience.
Following this, the Sisters’ Choir Team led a soul-stirring praise and worship session under the leadership of Sr Severine D’Cunha. The entire gathering was immersed in prayer and devotion.
An energetic action song was led by Br Melwyn Antony along with musician Mr Royston Dsouza. The members of ICYM Vorkady Unit performed the action song, and the executive members of the Deanery also joined in, adding to the lively spirit of the performance.
After a short break, a meaningful drama was performed by the ICYM Kasaragod Vicariate Executive Members. The skit conveyed a strong message that Jesus never leaves us, even when evil attacks us the most. It reminded everyone of faith, hope, and God’s constant presence.
A short message was delivered by ICYM Central Council Director, Rev. Fr Ashwin Cardoza. He appreciated the dedication of the Vicariate Director and praised the youth of Kasaragod Vicariate for their energy and commitment.
The Priests’ Choir Team of Kasaragod Deanery then led another powerful praise and worship session under the leadership of Rev. Fr Nelson D’ Almeida.
Following this, Very Rev. Fr Stany Pereira addressed the gathering. He expressed gratitude to Rev. Fr Basil Vaz and Rev. Fr Vishal Monis for organizing Divine Rhythms – Season 3 successfully. He appreciated the hard work of the ICYM Vorkady Unit and commended the youth for their enthusiasm and dedication. He concluded by thanking everyone who contributed to the success of the event.

ICYM Vorkady Unit was specially honoured for organizing the event beautifully. The token of gratitude was handed over by Rev. Fr Vishal Monis on behalf of ICYM Kasaragod Vicariate Executive.
The session concluded with a lively action song for the gathering.
The final segment of the program was led by Br Prakash D’Souza, Bandra and his team. They conducted a powerful preaching and prayer session. Rev. Fr Basil Vaz and Br Prakash D’Souza proclaimed the Gospel and delivered an inspiring message.
Prayers were offered for the sick, poor, children, youth, adults, and priests. Holy water was sprinkled as blessings were invoked upon all. The Blessed Sacrament was adored, creating a deeply peaceful and spiritual atmosphere.
With this, Divine Rhythms 2026 – Season 3 concluded on a spiritually uplifting note, leaving everyone blessed and renewed in faith.
Dinner was served to all participants after the event, marking a joyful end to the celebration.
